A Plastic Manufacturing Technician is responsible for packaging, labeling, and performing final visual quality inspections of products on their production line, while assisting line operators with start‑ups, shutdowns, and tooling changeovers to meet production goals. The role requires flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, including weekends as needed, and emphasizes safety, tracking production quantities, following SOPs, maintaining PPE, continuous improvement, and career development through ADS training programs.
The position demands self‑motivation, the ability to work independently, dependability, and an energetic attitude in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Basic mathematical skills and a willingness to learn new tasks are essential, and prior industrial or manufacturing experience is preferred.
Physical requirements include extended periods of labor in varying temperatures, full range of body motion such as twisting, bending, reaching, and squatting, as well as mounting and dismounting equipment. Employees must stand and remain mobile throughout 8‑12‑hour shifts and be capable of handling and transporting finished goods.
