In this position you will manage accounts, drive business development, lead project delivery, provide technical expertise, and build sector‑focused teams. You will direct and mentor junior colleagues, foster long‑term client relationships, and ensure commercial accountability across portfolios.
Your responsibilities include overseeing a team to enable collaboration, increasing client spend through cross‑selling and higher‑margin work, and delivering projects with full commercial responsibility. You will also act as a technical advisor, expand your legal and technical knowledge, and participate in training initiatives.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record leading projects for UK public‑sector clients and is a member of RICS or an equivalent recognised body. Extensive experience with NEC contracts and a history of business development or account‑management for major construction clients are also required.
The role may require UK security clearance, subject to a vetting process and proof of five years UK residency. AtkinsRéalis is committed to an inclusive culture, offering family‑friendly policies, flexible working arrangements and employee resource groups, and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
Be the essence of collaboration. Join the Complex Projects team at AtkinsRéalis as a Chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor in London, working on high‑profile infrastructure commissions across rail, highways, utilities, defence, energy and aviation. The role offers a genuinely collaborative environment where flexible and remote working arrangements are central to the culture, with options such as reduced weeks, additional leave, and reasonable adjustments to support personal ambitions.
AtkinsRéalis offers competitive salaries, employee rewards and a flexible benefits package that can be tailored to health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle preferences. You will have access to extensive training and professional development, as well as a hybrid working model and generous holiday allowance to support work‑life balance.
