Apply advanced survey methods using robotic total stations, 3D terrestrial scanners, GPS, mobile mapping systems, and aerial mapping techniques
Manage day-to-day operations and mentor staff across experience levels
Acquire and process remotely sensed data for use by engineers and technical staff
Guide teams in developing plats, extracting data, and building engineering models from various sources
Oversee and perform tasks related to LIDAR, photogrammetry, boundary research, and field surveys (route and property)
Lead and manage a team of geospatial professionals including GIS analysts, surveyors, technicians, and specialists

Valid driver’s license required
Experience leading teams in both field and office environments
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geography, GIS, or related field—or equivalent experience/training
Minimum 10 years of experience in geospatial projects and GIS data analytics
Minimum 5 years of team management experience
Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Pix4D, and TopoDOT (desirable)
Surveyor-in-Training (S.I.T.), Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), or GIS Professional (GISP) certification (preferred or ability to obtain)
Strong leadership and people management capabilities
Ability to manage projects and tasks within budget and schedule
Experience applying geospatial technologies to asset management programs (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with traditional surveying methods and practices (required)
Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
Ability to collaborate remotely with colleagues across multiple offices
