The Scheduler role creates and maintains baseline schedules for design and construction projects of varying size and complexity, supporting project management and construction teams. Working from the Durham, NC headquarters or client sites, the Scheduler monitors progress, analyzes performance, and communicates recommendations to stakeholders.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related design documents.
- Develop comprehensive baseline schedules based on contract documents and company standards.
- Regularly update schedules to reflect actual progress using project documentation and site superintendent input.
- Analyze project progress versus baselines, identifying risks, trends, variances, and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project teams to create recovery schedules and modify schedules for changed conditions.
- Perform time impact analysis and evaluate baseline schedules prepared by others for compliance.
- Extract relevant schedule information from typical construction documentation and contract records.

Candidates need an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) and 3–5 years of scheduling or project controls experience. A strong understanding of construction trade sequencing, logistics, and scheduling software, along with analytical, organizational, and communication skills, is required.
- Hold an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Possess 3–5 years of scheduling or project controls experience and knowledge of construction trade sequencing.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with proficiency in scheduling software.
- Preferred: proficiency in Primavera P6, familiarity with life‑science/health‑care facility systems, and AACE PSP certification.
- Physical: extended computer work, site visits involving walking, climbing, reaching, bending, and exposure to weather and dust.
