What you would be doing

Perform all tasks assigned in a professional and ethical manner and
Obtain concrete samples from the ready mix trucks
Perform visual inspection of rebar
Submit daily reports and other documentation to the Team Leader as
Establish and maintain a daily diary of all field activities for each project
Make concrete test cylinders
Prepare reports and perform field activities in a timely manner
Run tests on concrete samples and deliver the samples to the laboratory
Follow all written procedures for work being performed
Proactively review all project documents and testing procedures, and exhibit
Utilize a 40 lb. nuclear gauge to run tests on construction materials
Walk, stoop, bend, and climb up and down stairs and ladders
Ensures on time and regular attendance
Attend and actively participate in safety meetings and training programs to
Report to the Team Leader corrective actions (when necessary) to best
Obtain and deliver soil samples from the jobsite to the laboratory
Work in high grounds and high open buildings
Interact with clients and contractors in a professional and ethical manner
Establish personal goals for improving job performance
Observe and record construction crew performance data for related activities
Ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are implemented on all
Ensure that company-owned equipment is maintained in good working order
Drive a company vehicle in a safe manner

Ability to read and write in English
Ability to wear appropriate PPE for hazardous materials
Preferred candidates will demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to travel to various job sites and locations as required
ACI Level I Certification (must be able to obtain)
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Nuclear Gauge Certification
Valid driver's license
High school diploma or equivalent
Stand, walk and balance in irregular and uneven terrain and pavements,
Must be willing to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed by the
Six (6) months of experience in construction material testing
