This is a senior leadership position that will see you managing multidisciplinary teams, building long-term client partnerships, and driving business growth through technical excellence and project delivery. You’ll work with autonomy and influence, supported by a collaborative team culture that values initiative, accountability, and professional integrity.

Prepare and review scopes, proposals, and technical reports that meet or exceed client expectations.
Oversee project planning, financials, and risk management to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of environmental projects, ensuring quality, safety, and commercial success.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability in every project.
Manage multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior and senior consultants to support career development and technical capability.
Act as a trusted client advisor, maintaining strong professional relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

10+ years

Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geoscience, or a related discipline.
Experience in landfill gas mitigation or remediation projects will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated understanding of Australian Standards, legislation, and environmental compliance frameworks.
Excellent client engagement and communication skills, with confidence liaising with regulators and contractors.
Strong leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
8 to 10+ years’ experience in environmental consulting, ideally from a well-regarded consultancy.
Proven ability to independently manage complex projects across contaminated land and/or construction environments.
