Core responsibilities include providing high‑touch support, tools, information, and wayfinding to employees and guests, and offering a warm, professional welcome that leaves a positive first impression. The Ambassador cultivates trusted relationships with end users and cross‑functional colleagues, acts as the initial responder to inquiries, troubleshoots issues, and follows up as required. Regular assessment of space readiness ensures workspaces, conference rooms, and offices are properly equipped, while proactive work order submission addresses repairs, maintenance, or missing furniture before users are impacted. Additional duties involve educating employees and visitors on equipment, processes, workplace protocols, and etiquette, handling complaints and suggestions, gathering voice‑of‑the‑customer data, and sharing relevant insights with managers.
The Workplace Ambassador is a key member of the Cushman & Wakefield onsite account team, joining a broader Workplace Experience group that ensures employees feel productive, engaged, and well supported. This role serves a dedicated zone or building, acting as the first line of response for all employee questions and needs while maintaining daily space readiness so work can proceed without friction. The Ambassador functions as the “eyes and ears” of the workplace, proactively identifying and solving issues before they affect employees, and must be a collaborative self‑starter with strong communication skills and a focus on delivering an elevated customer experience.
Key competencies for success include effective communication with executive‑level clients and individuals at all organizational levels, high emotional intelligence and empathy, and meticulous organizational skills to manage multiple priorities. The role demands a proactive, “can‑do” attitude, strong character traits such as integrity and accountability, professional demeanor, resilience under pressure, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and proprietary technology tools.
Cushman & Wakefield offers eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package that typically includes health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid or unpaid time off. Compensation is competitive, ranging from $19.01 to $22.36 per hour, and adheres to minimum wage requirements; actual pay varies based on factors such as location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements. The company is an Equal Opportunity employer, providing accommodations for applicants with disabilities in compliance with the ADAAA.
