Complete detailed engineering analysis of new and existing designs to verify robustness and design intent, with little or no oversight.

Perform all verification activities and document results for knowledge transfer.
Conduct and approve prototype testing and laboratory best practices.
Lead and complete complex root cause analysis investigations.

Proficiency in using 3D CAD software (preferably NX) to develop designs utilizing proper design intent.

Proficiency with GD&T best practices and ability to perform complex tolerance stackups.
Experience with product development in an FDA-regulated environment.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (advanced degrees a plus).
Prior experience utilizing GD&T.
FEA or CFD simulation skills or close working relationships needed.
8-10+ years of industry experience in product design and development.
Experience with facilitating or participating in FMEA and DFMA activities.
Strong electromechanical knowledge of motion technologies including motors.

Strong experience with designing part manufacturing methods including machined, sheet metal, castings, and plastic injection molding.
