Greet and assist visitors entering yard. Ensure site specific safety rules are understood and followed.
Communicate with loader operator via two-way radio to accomplish the loading of customers.
Monitor load sizes of trucks.
Ensure efficiency of weighing trucks across scale.
This position is largely sedentary; however, caution needs to be taken when lifting files, boxes, opening file cabinet drawers.
Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.

Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently, without direct supervision.
Must pass pre-employment controlled substance testing.
Credit card procedures i.e.: Required to receive and log credit card sales from C.O.D. sales, and gravel tickets. Required to balance credit card sales to ticket reporting. Daily balance required.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance and punctuality.
Must be able to work overtime; potential for nights and weekend shifts as needed.
Demonstrates the ability to do basic math.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel via telephone and two-way radio.
Regular and timely attendance.
Demonstrates ability to work and communicate well with Supervisors, Truck Drivers, Heavy Equipment Operators, and other employees.
Travel between various work site locations (local) as needed.
To avoid injuries to hands, back, and neck, proper ergonomics should be maintained while working at desk/workstation.
Excellent customer service skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Ability to speak, read and write fluently a plus, but not required.
Attention to detail is imperative in selecting correct truck, product, project, and customer.
Proficient with Microsoft Windows applications, ideally having exceptional typing skills.
Demonstrates the willingness to learn and work a variety of job tasks.
