- Liaise with and coordinate project delivery with the leads of the various technical delivery teams.
- Identify project risks and deviations from programme or budget and prepare plans for mitigations.
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff under your control.
- Monitor the progress of projects and provide regular performance reports on completion status, programme and finances.
- Build trusting relationships with our Clients.
- Establish project objectives and develop project plans, budget and schedule in compliance with RPS procedures.
- Ensure RPS quality and management procedures are complied with.

- Substantial experience across planning, design and/or construction phases.
- Strong financial management and budgetary control skills
- Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Track record of experience as Project Manager in Transport or related projects.
- Experience in delivery of sustainable transport - Rail, Active Travel, Greenways and advantage
- Experienced in the design of Transport projects (technical skills are an advantage).
- Strong programming and resource management skills (including use of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar)
- High resilience, proactive problem-solving skills, and strong negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to create a team culture of camaraderie, integrity and trust, among multination and multicultural teams.
- Strong people management skills
- Proven ability to monitor and handle multiple projects at the same time, balance key priorities and meet challenging and changing deadlines.
- Strong track record in liaising with Clients and working with them to achieve the required solutions.
