What you would be doing

To apply trade skills to carry out scheduled and reactive tasks as needed
Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
To undertake Fabric repairs of the building in line with the PPM schedule ensuring that work is carried out efficiently to contract specification and client satisfaction
To maintain aspects of fire and smoke prevention, to include periodic fire door inspections and associated maintenance.
Provide support to other disciplines within the building
To oversee specialist contractors by escorting round the building and monitoring work
To accurately record all works carried out and completed and identify any remedial works to be undertaken on the documentation provided.
To order materials and services using ordering system and to update records and job sheets to certify satisfactory delivery/completion

Must have general handyperson knowledge and experience
Must have experience of working within the maintenance/hard services area of an FM business
Employment in this post is dependent upon obtaining security clearance; this requires 5 years’ residency in the UK and a valid British or EU passport.
Must have good IT skills
Duties will include but not be limited to: basic carpentry, painting/decorating, lock repairs, tiling, vinyl floor repairs, fire door maintenance and general office relocations
