Position Roles: Responsible for all maintenance work activities taking place in your assigned area of the plant. Coordinate, oversee and direct from a global perspective the execution of all maintenance work, improvement projects and production support activities in compliance with all established policies, procedures and practices of LCRA and Zachry Industrial Group.
Responsibilities include a range of duties beyond daily activities, such as providing direction and support to Craft Foremen, evaluating personnel capabilities, and setting career paths.
The role acts as an information hub for the assigned area, communicating regularly with the unit ZHI Maintenance Superintendent and ZHI Site Management, and ensuring supervisors meet expectations outlined in their field’s roles and responsibilities.
This position will require off‑hours and overtime support as needed.
A strong understanding of Chevron Phillips Cedar Bayou plant maintenance processes and OSHA health, safety, and environmental regulations is required.
Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a recommended associate’s degree in Business Management or Management Development.
Key skills comprise communication, organization, leadership, team‑building, interpersonal relationships, conflict management, client and labor relations, and proficiency with computers and software such as SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
