Management Trainee

Description

• Rotate through operational support, equipment rental, shop, transportation, sales, and leadership teams.
• Participate in classroom, online, job‑shadowing, and hands‑on training.
• Develop product knowledge and maintain a trainee network.
• Visit multiple district locations and train under different mentors.
• Complete online assignments to progress through the program.
• Shadow team members to gain exposure to all business facets.

Requirements

Physical demands include the ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift up to 25 pounds, as well as the potential for long-duration driving, loading and unloading heavy equipment, and working in extreme weather conditions. All duties must follow Sunbelt’s safety policies, and reasonable accommodations are available to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

• Minimum 2 years Sunbelt experience or Bachelor’s degree (or 3 years related experience).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
• Strong oral and written communication; negotiation and influencing skills a plus.
• Proficient computer skills and motivated attitude.
• High accountability, time management, and willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
• Open to relocation after program completion.
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift up to 25 lb; tolerate long driving periods and extreme weather.
