We are seeking an IT Service Design & Transition Lead who will ensure that new and changed IT services are designed, documented, and transitioned into live operation in a controlled and efficient manner. The role involves leading the creation of Service Design Packages, defining service models and support requirements, and embedding service governance and quality assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle. Success requires close collaboration with project managers, technical owners, and operational leads to guarantee operational readiness from day one.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in IT Service Management, with a strong focus on service design and transition within a complex enterprise environment. A proven track record of introducing new or changed services into live operation using structured transition and readiness processes is essential, as are excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment, and are not eligible for visa sponsorship. The closing date for applications is Sunday 8 February 2026 at midnight.
The role is a permanent, hybrid position based in any UK location, with a base office in London. Salary ranges from £48,987 to £61,234 per annum in London and £45,168 to £56,461 nationally, with the possibility of up to a 10 % increase in exceptional cases. It is a 36‑hour week with flexible options and the team has been recognised as Employer of the Year at the Housing Heroes awards 2025.
Clarion Housing Group offers hybrid working with flexible arrangements, requiring office attendance at least once per month and occasional travel. Benefits include a competitive salary, a permanent contract, and access to a range of lifestyle‑supporting perks.
Beyond new homes, the group transforms existing communities through regeneration, employment and training opportunities, and initiatives that give young people a better start in life.
