The Service Manager will oversee the division’s service department, supervising, training and developing technicians, service coordinators, billing coordinators and dispatchers. They will manage scheduling, execution, billing and completion of service, warranty and emergency jobs, ensure timely inspections and resolution of system deficiencies, and develop budgets to meet revenue and gross‑margin targets. Additional duties include communicating with customers, vendors and subcontractors, delivering projects within budget, performing monthly financial analysis, managing assets such as inventory and service vehicles, and fostering a high‑performance culture through performance reviews and development initiatives. The role also involves manpower planning, supporting sales and installation teams, calibrating inspection equipment, and enforcing safety standards.

The ideal candidate has two to five years of service operations management experience in fire detection, fire protection or security environments. They must communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, build and lead strong teams, and possess knowledge of fire alarm, clean‑agent or security systems as well as NFPA codes, OSHA standards and relevant financial drivers. A valid driver’s license, ability to pass background and drug checks, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required; NICET Level II is preferred. Strong organizational, decision‑making and computer skills are essential.
