Assist with month-end closing activities, including AP and AR reconciliations.
General office support and administrative duties including but not limited to acquisition of business licenses, office supply orders, office maintenance scheduling.
Support the accounting team with special projects and audits as needed.
Create and send customer invoices in accordance with project contracts.
Track receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve billing discrepancies.
Process vendor invoices, match with purchase orders, and ensure proper approvals.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment issues.
Maintain accounts payable files and vendor records.
Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire transfers.
Assist with lien waivers, W-9s, and other compliance documentation as required for construction projects.

Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of construction billing (AIA forms, progress billing, retainage) preferred but not required.
