Senior Revit Technician -Structural

Overview

Create and coordinate structural Revit BIM models and construction documents.

Tasks

-Assist with onboarding new employees in Revit training. -Participate on Structural Standards Committee, updating structural detail library and standards. -Perform redline drafting. -Read and duplicate existing structural plans for use in building additions or renovations. -Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines. -Prepare Structural construction documents including plans, elevations, details, and schedules. -Participate on BIM team coordinating standards with structural team. -Prepare Structural Revit models of buildings of varying types.

What You Bring

-Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related degree or combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. -Proficiency in Revit, with regards to structures, is required. -Understanding of structural plans and nomenclature. -Ability to start structural models and details with minimal supervision. -6+ years of experience with Revit. -Experience with Navisworks preferred. -Revit or Autodesk Certification preferred. -Ability to visualize and illustrate design in two and three dimensions. -Understanding of typical structural details. -Experience with Building Structures preferred. -Ability to balance several projects at once. -Excellent communication skills.
