Graduate Engineer I, Water / Wastewater

Description

• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water & Wastewater projects
• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
• Perform drafting CAD work
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
• Interdisciplinary team can provide full services from land development to treatment facility design.
• Support Water & Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process, design, and construction

Requirements

• Biosolids Handling
• Self-motivated and strong organization skills
• Odor Control
• Instrumentation, Control and SCADA
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is preferred
• We leverage more than 65 years of experience in the water utilities industry to develop creative and sound solutions.
• Great communication skills
• Desired experience with Civil 3D, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWater
• Solid relationship and team building skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (December 2024 and May 2025 graduates encouraged to apply)
• 0 – 3 years of experience in Water & Wastewater Utility projects and Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Design
