An Industrial Journeyman Painter/Blaster is responsible for painting equipment and structures for both protective and cosmetic purposes. The role requires maintaining, mixing, and applying paint and coating materials in accordance with contract specifications, and includes experience with spray painting, sandblasting, and fireproof applications.
The position demands the ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans, as well as a willingness to assist other trades when not actively painting. Candidates must meet all physical requirements, follow safety rules, possess the necessary tools, and have reliable transportation.
Applicants should have at least four years of experience in industrial painting or as a painter helper, be proficient in reading plans, and possess knowledge of materials, tools, and paint qualities.
