- Client Focus: Build and maintain effective relationships with clients on projects. Maintain a good understanding of the background of the client's business and industry to facilitate building effective and enduring relationships and consolidating both company and personal credibility in the industry
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Engage proactively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and multidisciplinary contributors to ensure coordinated, timely, and high-quality project delivery.

- Project Management: Manage select projects or components of projects, taking responsibility for resource allocation. Provide both leadership and technical advice to project team members.
- Deliver Technical Excellence: Provide civil engineering advice and apply advanced technical skills to produce high-quality designs for infrastructure projects.
- Champion Innovation and Safety: Assist in the development and integration of BIM and digital engineering practices, supporting sustainable design solutions and improved health and safety outcomes across infrastructure projects.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Perform detailed analysis and design tasks in alignment with relevant technical standards, client requirements, and Arcadis’ quality and assurance processes.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills
- Strong knowledge of local design standards including the Austroads Guide to Road Design (AGRD) and TMR Supplements, with the ability to apply these effectively in real-world contexts.
- A natural strength in communications and coordination of multiple disciplines to play a central role in multi-disciplinary project.
- A Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) accreditation.
- 7+ years working in multidiscipline design and/or project teams in highways and infrastructure projects, ideally within the QLD market.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment.
- Experience with Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) road projects, which will be highly regarded.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and exposure to industry-standard road design software such as 12D, OpenRoads, or Civil 3D.
- Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary design teams, contributing to integrated, high-quality project outcomes.
