Lutron has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant in Center Valley, PA. This position will support the ongoing transformation of our accounting/finance function; enhance existing and establish new internal controls through continuous improvement efforts; and deliver value to the organization in the form of timely financial information and analysis. As we actively evolve our practices, you will have the unique opportunity to develop a mastery of new technologies (SAP, PowerBI, AI, etc.) while also using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to successfully apply US GAAP principles. A successful Senior Accountant will ensure we achieve compliance with the standards, maintain accurate accounting records and support business leadership.
You will gain experience working on one or more Lutron entities or corporate functional areas performing a combination of manufacturing and cost accounting activities like leading physical inventories; creating plant budgets and assigning work center rates; setting and maintaining standard costs of inventory; analyzing Lutron’s supply chains; performing variance analysis; and reporting on the gross margin as well as corporate accounting activities like: performing month-end close; reconciling balance sheet accounts; analyzing and posting transactions in accordance with US GAAP; and providing external audit support. As you gain experience, you will be asked to provide in-depth analyses, to work on impactful projects, and to identify areas for improvement.
