Artisan Direct offers custom fabrication, assembly, and distribution services for various industries.
Requirements include a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance, a reliable vehicle with enough space for 30–60 signs, and a smartphone (Android or iPhone, roughly four years old or newer) capable of running the mobile app. Candidates must be able to lift and place signs, hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend, and complete routes within the required time windows.
Artisan Direct is seeking reliable independent contractors to place and pick up temporary weekend directional signs. This active outdoor role offers predictable weekend income and flexible scheduling. A short 44‑second YouTube video explains the company’s mission.
Work occurs every weekend, with a placement window from Friday 5 PM through Saturday 10 AM and a pick‑up window from Sunday 6 PM through Monday 8 AM. Contractors view sign locations and a suggested installation order in the app, can complete routes in any order, store signs safely between weekends, and use their own vehicle. Most standard 30–60 sign routes take 45 minutes to 1.5 hours once familiar.
Starting earnings are $50–$100 per weekend for a typical route and can rise to $200–$300+ as additional sign programs are added. Contractors receive a signing bonus after the first completed weekend and a $100 bonus after one month of consistent work. Pay is deposited directly on a bi‑weekly basis, and training is straightforward.
The role is well‑suited for delivery and rideshare drivers, couriers, students, retirees, veterans, or anyone seeking flexible supplemental income. The work is independent, outdoors, and solo, providing a dependable way to earn extra money on one’s own schedule.
This is a 1099 independent‑contractor position; contractors are not employees of Artisan Direct and are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. They determine their own driving order, provide their own vehicle and mobile device, and must complete any route they commit to. No benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees are offered.
