The Plastic Manufacturing Technician is tasked with packaging, labeling, and conducting final visual inspections of products on the production line. The role supports line operators during start‑ups, shutdowns, tooling changeovers, and downstream equipment setup, while tracking production quantities to maintain efficiency. Safety is emphasized through consistent use of personal protective equipment and adherence to standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives include both line performance and facility housekeeping.
Successful candidates are self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. They should be team‑oriented, possess basic mathematical skills, and be eager to learn new skills and pipe specifications. Prior industrial or manufacturing experience is preferred, though not required.
The position requires the ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in varying temperatures, including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting, and handling finished goods. Employees must stand and remain mobile throughout 8‑12‑hour shifts and be capable of mounting and dismounting industrial equipment and vehicles.
Compensation includes a base hourly rate of $19.50 plus a $1.50 shift differential, with competitive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid holidays, and vacation days.
