The role involves handling duties for two or more apartment communities, providing superior customer service, conducting market surveys, showing and leasing units, updating unit availability daily, processing rental applications and maintenance requests, receiving collections, providing clerical and phone support, maintaining accurate resident files, coordinating move‑in calendars and inspections, resolving resident complaints, conducting move‑out walks, and performing additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Physical demands include regular sitting, standing, walking, reaching, talking, and hearing, with occasional climbing and extended computer and phone use. The employee must detect auditory or visual alarms and be available for flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and occasional holidays, while maintaining regular attendance at company functions and events.
Essential functions require strong leadership, excellent communication, superior collection and customer‑service skills, the ability to handle high‑stress situations, effective time‑management, a strong sales background, and knowledge of state fair‑housing law, alongside solid administrative and organizational abilities.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, fluent English, intermediate mathematical ability, and proficiency with resident‑management software and MS Office. Preferred knowledge includes Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, and Resident Check. One year of service‑industry experience is preferred, and a commitment to ongoing professional development is expected.
Compensation is $23‑$25 per hour, based on experience, with the potential to earn lease commissions and renewal bonuses. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
