Reporting to the Project Manager, the Civil/Utilities Lead, will be responsible for supporting the overall success of Major Projects in Canada.
Provide mentorship and resolve conflicts to maintain efficiency and collaboration.
Oversee schedules to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with goals.
Lead RFQ and RFP proposals, delivering innovative, client-focused solutions.
Pursue new business opportunities in municipal infrastructure and public sector projects.
Advancing projects from concept to construction, ensuring compliance with standards and client needs.
Develop strategies to expand market presence and boost revenue growth.
Manage project budgets and monitor financial performance.
Oversee team performance to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
Lead and manage the civil / utilities components of major projects from inception to completion (this could include but, is not limited to, water main relocation and sizing, storm and sanitary design, as well as supporting other dry utilities and transportation activities such as road rehabilitation/reconstruction and drainage improvements).
Prepare technical designs, specifications, reports, and proposals.

Demonstrated expertise in transportation infrastructure design and delivery.
University degree in Engineering, with an Ing. or P.Eng. designation preferred.
Fluency in both written and spoken English - French considered and asset.
Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a detail-oriented mindset.
Understand industry trends while building strong client relationships.
Proven organizational capabilities and a flexible, solution-driven approach to challenges.
A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Experience leading and managing teams of professionals.
At least 10 years of experience in engineering design, project management, or business development within the municipal sector.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Familiarity with rail and transit projects, considered an asset.
