- Sustainability: Recommend energy-saving upgrades and help clients meet environmental and sustainability goals.
- Inspections and reports: Survey buildings, spot issues like damp or structural damage, and produce detailed condition reports.
- Carry out site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Evaluate tenders and provide reporting support.
- Maintenance and refurbishment: Advise on repairs and renovations, manage refurbishment projects, and ensure compliance with safety and accessibility standards.
- Assist with feasibility studies, cost plans, and budget estimates.
- Support the preparation of designs, detailed specifications, and tender documentation.
- Use innovative tools, including drones and 360° digital reality capture, for surveys and site monitoring.
- Help with planning and building regulation submissions.
- Assist with party wall matters and dilapidations assessments.
- Contribute to surveys (including condition and schedules of condition).
- Support contract administration and compliance.
- Design advice: Support design plans - especially for extensions or conversions - and ensure work meets planning and building regulations.

- A degree or masters (completed or completing by August 2026) within building surveying, surveying, construction, civil engineering, or building engineering.
