Design Manager

• Manage and coordinate the full design process across CSA disciplines, from pre-construction through to delivery.
• Oversee design change management and support project teams with technical expertise.
• Ensure design outputs meet project requirements, regulatory standards, and health & safety obligations.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure clarity, coordination, and technical compliance.
• Provide design leadership during tendering, value engineering, and construction phases.
• Identify and manage design risks, providing practical solutions to technical challenges.

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager, ideally with an engineering background to join our expanding team. You will lead and coordinate the design process on major industrial build projects, ensuring that innovative, buildable, and cost-effective design solutions are delivered on time and to the highest quality.

• Proficiency in BIM processes and digital design tools is advantageous.
• Degree qualified in Civil, Structural, Architectural, or related Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
• Proven experience managing design on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects (warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or similar).
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of CSA design principles, construction techniques, and compliance standards.
• Experience working for a main contractor or major design consultancy preferred.
