  • Technical Enablement & Application Engineering: Provide technical consultation to OEMs, including installation audits, commissioning oversight, and application-specific engineering support. Ensure all solutions comply with Volvo Penta’s technical certification standards
  • Strategic Growth: Define and execute a data-driven business strategy targeting sustainable, profitable growth across new engine sales and aftermarket solutions. Leverage market segmentation and lifecycle value analysis to prioritize high-impact opportunities.
  • Market Insight: Conduct continuous market surveillance and competitive benchmarking to identify emerging trends, technology shifts, and whitespace opportunities. Translate insights into actionable commercial strategies and product positioning.
  • Sales & Marketing: Develop and deploy targeted go-to-market plans, including account-based sales strategies and digital marketing campaigns, to accelerate customer acquisition and retention.
  • Customer Engagement: Cultivate strategic partnerships with key OEMs and end users by aligning Volvo Penta’s value proposition with customer roadmaps. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between sales, engineering, and product development teams to co-create long-term solutions.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and tools for tracking account performance.
  • An understanding of SMT’s corporate values, vision, and customer needs.

  • Understanding of Volvo Penta’s engine systems, power solutions, and aftermarket offerings.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance on installation, commissioning, and application engineering.
  • Previous experience representing a company at industry events and exhibitions.
