Act as a liaison between vendors, product suppliers, and manufacturers in support of the sales and installation divisions.
Interact with suppliers daily to ensure equipment and materials are delivered same day or next day as needed and maintain records for all orders processed while obtaining vendor confirmations.
Handle day to day reordering functions on a model specific basis to support requisition requests from sales and installation units.
Monitor material costs and proactively seek competitive quotes from multiple suppliers and provide feedback to the Senior Buyer, Procurement Manager, and General Manager of Operations Support as needed.
Work with the Finance unit to research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Report to the Commercial Service Manager team on all quoted commercial service related materials.
Execute month end reports using Great Plains and Excel as needed.
Assist in achieving procurement strategy, goals, and objectives for material costs and margins.
Execute procurement duties for ordering equipment and installation materials and for ordering parts and materials for the Customer Service division.
Provide weekly stock orders for installation locations in territory including Frederick (MTA).

Proven ability to learn procurement systems and processes supported by general knowledge of company operations

Demonstrated ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with suppliers, management, and internal personnel
Proven ability to discuss technical requirements and confirm accurate purchase of equipment and related materials
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
