CFL Caregiver- FT AM

Description

The caregiver role involves assisting residents with daily living activities—bathing, grooming, hygiene, meals, transportation, and toileting—while preserving dignity, safety, and confidentiality. Caregivers follow care plans, respond promptly to alerts, document changes, and participate in safety drills and community activities.

• Provide compassionate assistance with bathing, grooming, hygiene, meals, and toileting while preserving resident dignity.
• Follow individual care plans and document any changes or incidents promptly.
• Transport residents safely using proper lifting and transferring techniques.
• Support residents during meals, including selection, serving, and clearing trays.
• Conduct regular safety checks and participate in fire and emergency drills.
• Lead and encourage residents to engage in enriching daily activities.
• Manage oxygen equipment according to medical orders.
• Respond quickly to resident alerts via walkie‑talkie.
• Maintain a positive, professional appearance and promote teamwork.

Requirements

• Meet regulatory requirements: age 18+, high school diploma, first‑aid certification; Nurse Aid preferred.
• Pass background checks, health screening, and TB test; communicate effectively in English.
• Physically capable of lifting 40+ lb, pushing 150 lb, and performing kneeling, squatting, and overhead reaching.
