This is a standalone role, reporting directly into the construction manager and will you see you working closely with preconstruction, construction, and commercial colleagues.

Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to align scope and costs.
Carry out cost evaluations and pricing analysis of quotes.
Complete your own takeoffs and coordinate external QS BOQs (depending on project scope and size).
Review takeoffs and BOQs for accuracy and compliance.
Analyse tender documentation and coordinate subcontractor/supplier quotes.

There is currently an immediate requirement for an experienced senior estimator with solid experience in the construction industry, to prepare accurate tenders and cost plan budgets across a variety of building projects.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies and processes.
Comfortable working autonomously
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Construction (or equivalent).
Several years of estimating experience in the construction sector.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with estimating software (BuildSoft or Cubit preferred).
