Machine Operator II - $23.62 to $24.37 an hour + $1.10 Shift Differential!!!

Description

• Read and interpret work orders, machining sheets, and templates to configure doors.
• Report any discrepancies or defects to the Shop Supervisor.
• Run machines safely and efficiently, perform periodic maintenance, and alert the supervisor to equipment problems.
• Complete assignments efficiently to maximize production without compromising safety.
• Follow all applicable quality control guidelines.
• Inform the Shop Supervisor of late arrivals or early departures.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Notify the supervisor upon completing daily work orders and await further assignments.
• Perform work under general supervision.
• Handle moderately complex issues, escalating more complex problems to higher‑level staff.
• Kneel occasionally (up to 25% of the day).

Requirements

• Operate only machines you are trained and certified on, demonstrating competence.
• Possess solid working knowledge of the subject matter.
• Lift 1‑30 lb frequently (up to 50% of the day).
• Lift 30‑60 lb regularly (up to 30% of the day).
• Lift over 60 lb occasionally (up to 25% of the day).
• Push/pull 100 lb with assistance seldom (up to 13% of the day).
• Squat occasionally (up to 25% of the day).
• Stoop frequently (up to 25% of the day).
• Work with extended arms seldom (up to 13% of the day).
