As the in‑house Employment Counsel, you will serve as the subject‑matter expert on employment matters, handling disputes, drafting policies, and performing other legal responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include identifying and assessing legal risks, advising on employee relations, discipline, terminations, leave requests, wage and hour issues, benefits, onboarding and off‑boarding, and representing the company in hearings, litigation, mediations, arbitrations, and subpoena responses.
- Identify and assess employment‑related legal risks to ensure compliance.
- Advise on employee relations, discipline, terminations, and leave accommodations (FMLA, ADA, PWFA).
- Guide wage‑and‑hour, workers’ compensation, unemployment, benefits, and onboarding/off‑boarding matters.
- Represent the company in hearings, litigation, mediations, arbitrations, and respond to subpoenas.
- Offer relocation assistance; require U.S. work authorization and do not sponsor work visas.

Candidates must hold a JD from an accredited law school, be admitted to practice in Pennsylvania in good standing, and possess a minimum of seven years of substantive employment law experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Hold a JD, be admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, and have at least 7 years of employment law experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of statutes such as ADA, ADEA, FMLA, PWFA, and FLSA.
