Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant (Property Services), the position is responsible for preparing financial reporting and related information for the designated business areas, ensuring all activities comply with policies, procedures and regulations.
- Prepare management accounts and commentary for assigned business areas according to the Finance schedule.
- Lead the preparation of statutory year‑end accounts and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Assist in developing departmental annual budgets and monitor their timely delivery.
- Contribute to the financial forecasting process in collaboration with finance and functional budget holders.
- Analyse key financial performance ratios for inclusion in management accounts and board reports.
- Support the continuous improvement and growth of the Group’s financial services.
- Help develop the Group’s financial strategy and provide cover for other Management Accountants as needed.
- Provide financial support and analysis to the Senior Management Accountant and departmental managers.
- Produce functional reporting for property services that aligns with budgets, forecasts and benchmarking data.
- Review financial systems with the Finance team and recommend enhancements.

- Hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grades A*‑C).
- Possess an ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification, or be part‑qualified to Applied Skills level.
- Demonstrate current experience in budgeting, forecasting and management accounts.
- Show proven ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.
- Utilise strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with Microsoft Excel for decision making.
- Exhibit capability in analytical report writing.
Benefits
The Management Accountant role offers a pro‑rated salary of £47,464 and is based at the Ealing office with hybrid working. It is a fixed‑term contract of 35 hours per week running until 31 July 2026, and requires a basic DBS check.
