  • Use Innovyze ICM and/or Tuflow software to build, update or test options/scenarios for river and/or stormwater systems. This includes model schematisation, assessment of model inputs and gap analysis, model build, validation and calibration, system performance assessment, and floodplain and hazard mapping.
  • Help Technical leadership in developing, establishing and maintaining appropriate professional and technical standards within the organisation.
  • Support delivery of registrations of interest, pre-qualifications, project proposals/bids, fee estimates, project work programmes and budgets.

  • Ensure model accuracy based on available information across Model Build, Demand Analysis & Allocation, Calibration and Masterplanning
  • Apply sound engineering judgement and best practices to arrive at technical decisions that drive innovative, fit-for-purpose and value-engineered solutions to meet project and client needs.
  • Apply hydraulic principles for River, Storm and Waste Water infrastructure planning, including stormwater networks, culverts, bridges as well as open channel and 2D surface flows.
  • Maintain knowledge of appropriate technical standards, legislation, codes of practice and New Zealand norms to ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, tolerances, safety factors and project brief. Keep abreast of industry developments, trends and processes.
