Play a crucial role in maintaining measurement system integrity and operational accuracy;
Prepare accurate documentation and service reports for all completed work;
Review and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and calibration reports;
Identify and work with various gas measurement equipment and terminology;
Approve time cards and audit field calibration data and schedules;

Troubleshoot gas measurement systems and correct issues as needed;
Procure spot or composite gas samples and transport hazardous/nonhazardous materials;
Lead advanced gas measurement operations both onshore and offshore;
Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain primary and secondary measurement devices;
Train and mentor new employees on primary tasks and responsibilities;
Train and mentor new technicians and review technical documentation for accuracy;
Conduct multi-point verification and orifice plate inspections;
Perform gas measurement services both onshore and offshore using a company vehicle or via helicopter, boat, or seaplane;

High school diploma or equivalent required; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education;
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and perform primary tasks with minimal supervision;
Solid understanding of low-voltage electrical systems;
Proficiency using multiple calibration software programs;
Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
3-5 years of gas measurement experience;
Advanced knowledge of AGA/GPA/API Measurement Guidelines and regulatory standards (BLM, COGCC);
Ability to easily locate industry standards and government regulations;
Ability to work in all weather conditions, including hot, cold, and/or inclement temperatures;
Advanced troubleshooting experience with gas measurement systems including but not limited to identifying and correcting volume discrepancies and full measurement system compliance auditing;
Ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed to support business priorities and deadlines;
