Solar Design

The Solar Design Engineer will develop, validate, and finalize system designs for rooftop, ground-mounted, and hybrid solar installations. You will work alongside project managers, procurement specialists, and on-site engineers to ensure each project is safe, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.

• Collaborate with procurement to prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and vendor specifications.
• Use PVsyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD for energy yield simulations and shading analyses.
• Support tendering teams with technical proposals and presentations.
• Develop PV system layouts and electrical schematics for various project sizes.
• This position allows you to directly influence the efficiency and reliability of cutting-edge solar projects, with a clear growth path into senior design or technical leadership roles as the industry expands.
• Perform load analysis, module selection, inverter sizing, and cable routing plans.
• Ensure all designs comply with IEC, IEEE, and local grid regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation including single-line diagrams, wiring layouts, and civil interface drawings.
• Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or safety.

We are looking for a Solar Design Engineer with a passion for precision engineering and innovation. This role is crucial in converting client requirements and site constraints into technically optimized, cost-effective solar PV solutions.

• Strong understanding of electrical codes, grounding, lightning protection, and structural considerations.
• Problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and strong documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Proficiency in PV design software and AutoCAD.
• 2–4 years of solar PV design experience, preferably with EPC companies.
