Act as a keyholder for premises and manage building access systems
Answer phone/Teams calls, emails and respond to repair requests.
Handle deliveries and organise storage and pick up from other corporate buildings
Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
Operate, check and test the fire and intruder alarm systems
Conduct routine checks of equipment/furniture and ensure it is in good working order
Ensure the premises are hygienic, clean, and safe
Coordinate and liaise with contractors for larger repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g., gas, electrical, plumbing)
Ensure post is received, sorted, franked and posted in a timely manner
Manage waste disposal and recycling services
Assist with setting up and arranging rooms for meetings or events
Manage and maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and furniture
Perform minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs or unblocking sinks
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

An ability to manage multiple tasks, manage inventories and remain flexible to switch between tasks and adapt to the ever-changing needs of the business
A good knowledge of the Data Protection Act 1998 and UK GDPR
Basic experience of office/building repairs using hand/power tools with a clear understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and translating that into working practice.
Experience of working with regulation, legislation and translating that into working practice
Demonstratable experience of coaching, advising and training staff at all levels
Aware of the key requirements of day-to-day business needs or corporate buildings
Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues, contractors and public visiting our corporate buildings
