Director of Leasing - Office & Industrial
Benderson Development
Privately held real estate developer of retail, industrial, office & hospitality across 40 U.S. states.
Identifying and securing office and industrial tenants for Benderson Development's Class A properties and industrial/flex assets.
Collaborate with property management to ensure tenant needs and requests are handled effectively and efficiently.
Serve as the liaison between tenants and the internal construction team regarding space planning, buildouts, and tenant improvements.
Support company strategies in the ongoing development and leasing of office and industrial properties.
Exercise foresight in evaluating leasing opportunities and developing alternative strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
Oversee the creation and updating of all marketing materials (brochures, flyers, offering memorandums, pitch books, tours, maps, property photos, etc.) related to new and existing opportunities, in coordination with the internal marketing department.
Collect and analyze pertinent financial and operational information on prospective tenants, perform due diligence, and present findings to leadership.
Research, analyze, and recommend prospective office and industrial tenants based on creditworthiness, financing impact, tenant mix, and long-term return on investment.
Canvass, cold call, and qualify prospective national and regional tenants. Develop and execute both traditional and creative leasing strategies to attract tenants at the local, regional, and national level.

7+ years of commercial real estate experience with a proven track record of success, specifically in the office and/or industrial sector.
Strong entrepreneurial mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Customer-service focused interpersonal skills.
Must have an active driver’s license.
Understand lease documents thoroughly and leverage expertise in originating, negotiating, and completing new and renewal leases for office and industrial spaces within existing assets and new developments.
