Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of all field survey equipment, vehicles, and supplies.

Experience with construction layout and/or utility corridor projects (preferred but not required).
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, property owners, and coworkers.
Ability to obtain OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Certification.
Working knowledge of Trimble survey equipment and Trimble Business Center (preferred).
High School Graduate or equivalent (required); Associate's degree or higher in Surveying & Mapping or Civil Engineering Technology (preferred).
Demonstrated aptitude for sound independent decision-making and providing clear direction to crew members.
3 to 5 years of progressive experience as a Survey Party Chief.
Strong ability to perform basic mathematical and trigonometric calculations and understand error propagation in field surveys.
Valid driver's license along with the ability to pass a background check, an MVR check, and a drug test
Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
