Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications
Assign work and assist with reviews for accuracy and adherence to required standards
Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports
Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes
Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures
Arrange and oversee the letting of tenders
Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Site Manger or Project Manager
Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects
Contribute to improvements to existing designs
Construction of the North Tower
Analyse and use document and record management, progress and project performance reporting compliance reporting

Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning and legislative requirements
Experience on > $100M+ projects
Utilise effective time management skills including sequencing of work of own and resource time management
Advanced skills in relevant computer software packages; Microsoft Suite; Primavera 6
Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project
Demonstrate sound people management skills by managing work and performance of subcontractors to achieve outcomes
Understanding of the Project Design Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, Safety Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan
Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards and implications for project accountabilities
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management or equivalent
5+ years’ construction experience
