Take full control and responsibility for the transport function of Nottinghamshire and any future wider East Treatment region
Liaise and work with all local regulatory bodies (EA, HSE, Transport Ministry) and ensure associated compliance of obligations
Challenge existing practices periodically by adopting review processes to ensure a culture of continuous improvement is embedded to ensure an efficient and effective service delivery
Liaise with the contract financial staff to produce financial management information for production of monthly profit and loss accounts, accurate forecasting, involvement of CAPEX
Manage fleet maintenance matters ensuring best value and legal compliance
Line management of staff including recruitment, appraisals and disciplinary matters
Attending meetings as required and to cover for the General Manager in their absence
Ensure compliance with O’Licence requirements, transport legislation and internal procedures.
