  • Perform system testing, factory acceptance testing (FAT) and develop test documents
  • Ensure that the customer’s system is updated to the latest software, quick fixes, and hardware.
  • Coordinate with factory for product related issues and resolve.
  • Analyze and utilize provided software tooling to upgrade PLC programs to latest hardware and software revisions.
  • Prepare upgrade plans for the customer’s systems.
  • Document preparation and obtain customer's approval per document specification and schedule
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues, including hardware and software malfunctions.
  • Analyze technical risk of expansion projects and upgrades
  • Attend technical training that includes systems and instruments, as well as application, process control, communication, and safety.
  • Install PLC upgrade systems
  • Identify deficiencies in products and procedures which affect customer satisfaction, recommending solutions/workarounds
  • Provide technical review of orders for clients and any other proposals that are requested to perform.
  • Refer customer requests to company specialists (consultants) as required.
  • Provide technical assistance to meet required company objectives of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to field technical questions and inquiries from customers in a timely manner.

  • Microsoft Office, Windows Operating Systems, PLC’s, Communication protocols, Networking and System Security
  • Experience with HMI software, PLC’s, DCS system and field instrumentation.
  • Strong analytical & logical ability, possess of good judgment, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with good leadership and communication skills
  • 2 + years years of related experience, including industry knowledge
  • A recognized Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science or Process Control is desirable. Military experience is also acceptable.
  • Experience with Autocad a plus
  • Detail-oriented, forward looking and good leadership abilities
  • Innovative and dynamic with effective communication skills, especially in inter-cultural aspects
  • Experience with Rockwell or Siemens PLC Systems
  • 2 + years experience with Modicon, Telemechanique, and Square D PLC systems

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - $144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
