The Facility Manager – Soft Services is responsible for managing all aspects of facilities service as defined in the contract scope and reports to the Hub Lead. This role ensures service delivery at specified locations is measured against contractual Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements, providing operational leadership to meet account objectives across the region.
The FM has functional accountability for an assigned number of client sites, overseeing client and tenant satisfaction by working directly with local clients to understand objectives and implement property‑specific operating strategies. They manage and coordinate the efforts of the FM team, service providers, contractors and building employees to achieve goals and support the Hub Lead in meeting KPIs and SLAs.
Key duties include coordinating weekly inspections to ensure proper building operations, energy conservation and cleanliness, providing 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance, and managing the ticket‑management tool to meet KPI targets. The FM also drives workplace innovation, creates user‑friendly processes, assists in space planning, and prioritises customer needs with empathy.
People management responsibilities involve maintaining high staff morale, trust and work ethics, coordinating FM procedures implementation, and training FM staff to foster teamwork and performance excellence. The FM proactively engages stakeholders, builds effective client relationships, and ensures high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Finance management tasks include preparing the site operational budget, forecasting expenses, adhering to budget forecasts, managing approvals, invoices and procurement, and ensuring vendors deliver services on time and within budget. The FM also prepares and collates IFM and finance reporting, tracks vendor costs, and provides monthly service reports to the client.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management with a technical emphasis, a minimum of five years’ industry experience in corporate, facilities or hospitality environments, and a proactive, self‑starter attitude. The role requires strong teamwork, the ability to meet individual targets, and effective contribution to the delivery team.
