In this role you will work with architects, engineers, and environmental scientists to execute electrical engineering design for public and private clients, coordinating in‑house and external teams handling power generation, distribution, low‑voltage, lighting, communication, fire alarm, and security system design. You will also receive support from H2M staff, benefit from a collaborative culture that emphasizes sustainability and community involvement, and help ensure projects have minimal environmental impact.
As a senior member of the H2M team you will oversee design of electrical systems, develop and supervise a group of Electrical Engineers, review department design documents for compliance, and work with QA/QC to develop quality standards. You will partner with the MEP management team on manpower and production planning, contribute to business development initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET‑accredited program, a Professional Engineer license, and at least 10 years of design experience in a consulting firm. Candidates should have strong communication skills, proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Office, and knowledge of LEED, AutoCAD, and Revit; experience with HVAC, plumbing, and team management is a plus.
