In this role you will work alongside architects, engineers, and environmental scientists to produce electrical engineering designs for public and private projects. You will also coordinate in‑house and external teams handling power generation, distribution, low‑voltage, lighting, communications, fire alarm, and security system design. The position offers strong support from staff, a culture of collaboration, community involvement, and a commitment to sustainable practice.
The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and at least ten years of experience designing power generation, delivery, transmission, distribution, motor control centers, VFDs, protective relays, standby generation, or PLC controls. Preferred credentials include an EIT or PE license and a background in consulting, development, or utilities. Candidates must demonstrate strong work ethic, teamwork, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and EasyPower is desired.
The salary range for this position is $100,000‑$130,000 annually, with final compensation adjusted based on experience, specialty, education, geography, and certifications. This range does not include additional forms of compensation or benefits.
