Working flexibly, the engineer will visit client sites and collaborate across multi‑year frameworks, taking projects from feasibility studies through detailed design, construction and commissioning while ensuring high technical quality and strong client relationships.

The position involves leading direct reports, inspiring technical excellence, and contributing to AECOM’s broader technical capability and innovative approach alongside civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineers within a 700‑strong UK & Ireland water business.

Design and review electrical and ICA elements for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Conduct feasibility studies, outline and detailed design, and provide construction/commissioning support.
Maintain high technical quality, contribute to bid submissions and uphold client relationships.
Manage project budgets, schedules and deliverables to meet agreed targets.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders to secure solution buy‑in.
Lead, mentor and manage direct reports, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
