Lead the incident investigation processes and support leadership behavioral change and accountability with all leaders through personal follow-up and coaching.
Ensure that audits and follow-up are in place to drive a culture of EHS accountability with all site leaders.
Ensure that all EHS requirements are met through project stage gate and/or management of change reviews.
Develop and manage the sites EHS committees.
Manage all aspects of environmental permitting at the site. Ensure that the agency interfaces are prepared to professionally partner with regulators.
Prepare and manage site security, safety, health, environmental and sustainability objectives and goals in support of the regional and global strategy. Align corporate and local EHS goals and strategies.
Support and assist with the development of a sustainable high-performing safety and environmental excellence culture via the implementation of corporate programs and standards.
Serve as the subject matter expert regarding the interpretation of federal, state, and local EHS regulations. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Build and maintain positive relationships with regulators.
Own the sites RC14001 Management System. Lead a continuous improvement initiative regarding EHS policies and programs.
Responsible for industrial hygiene activities.
Manage employee training programs to ensure required trainings are completed.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety / Environmental Science or related field is required.
Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to interact at all levels within an organization, with customers and with outside agencies.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to write reports and procedures.
Position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
