

Responsible for an area achieving circa £800,000-£1m
Predominantly selling into ground workers and civil engineering contractors, but also drainage contractors and general builders (not tier one’s, white van man upwards)
Attending trade events, networking and conferences
Supporting clients with technically sound solutions
Prepare quotes, weekly sales reports and order confirmations
Field sales role, selling predominantly the hire of a distributed range of surveying equipment, safety Equipment, lasers, levels, machine control, calibration, and survey equipment servicing
Open to other construction building products sold into a similar customer base; ground workers and civil engineering contractors, but also drainage contractors and general builders
Ideally some knowledge of surveying or technical safety equipment, machine controls such as ; excavators, dozers etc. also of interest
Proven track record in construction/ plant hire sales sector
Willingness to travel
Ability to work independently
Resilient and comfortable dealing with contractors and site environments
80% of your time on the road/ field sales, one day either working from home or branch on patch
50% new business development, 50% account management role
