The role involves leading multiple network projects, serving as a technical consultant and subject‑matter expert for LAN/WLAN technologies, and collaborating across Service Design, Delivery, Operations, and local IT teams. You will guide new service concepts, manage security releases, provide fourth‑level support, and work with design engineering on chronic issues while being on‑call and traveling as required.
- Implement new technologies and configurations on multiple simultaneous LAN/WLAN projects.
- Serve as technical consultant for global and site‑specific network initiatives.
- Lead and act as subject‑matter expert for designated network services.
- Participate in Security Release Management for new services and feature updates.
- Collaborate with Service Design to hand over concepts to Service Transition and operations.
- Develop services and required outputs within a cross‑functional team.
- Train and hand over services for consistent delivery and support.
- Follow defined processes for subsequent service releases per the Service Roadmap.
- Interface between Service Design, Service Delivery Provisioning, Operations, and local IT support.
- Provide 4th‑level support to Operations, driving advanced issue resolution.
- Work with Design Engineering to address chronic network problems.
- Resolve and configure Cisco Catalyst LAN/WLAN in large enterprise environments.
- Coordinate and configure Layer 2 and Layer 3 Cisco networks.
- Troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls (source/destination IP, TCP/UDP protocols).

Candidates must hold a BA/BS in Information Systems or a related field and have at least eight years of Cisco LAN/WLAN implementation experience, including five years on enterprise sites and two years on OT networks. Deep knowledge of Cisco LAN/WLAN configuration, management platforms, IP addressing, and routing protocols, together with strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills, is essential.
Preferred qualifications include ITIL v3 knowledge, Cisco WAN expertise, Palo Alto firewall troubleshooting, and relevant Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP). Experience in a global environment and the ability to perform implementation activities are also valued.
- Travel 10–20% of the time.
- Hold a BA/BS or equivalent in Information Systems or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years experience with Cisco LAN/WLAN implementation and operation.
- Minimum 5 years experience with Enterprise Site LAN/WLAN networks.
- Minimum 2 years experience with OT LAN/WLAN networks.
- Configure Cisco LAN features: port‑channels, trunks, ACLs, static routes, VLANs, L2/L3 routing, segmentation.
- Configure Cisco WLAN features: local WLC, FlexConnect, SSID implementation, solutioning.
- Use Cisco management platforms: DNAC, Prime, ISE (TACACS, RADIUS), SolarWinds, ServiceNow.
- Demonstrate detailed understanding of Cisco networking equipment configuration.
- Knowledge of VLANs, spanning‑tree, BGP, and EIGRP.
- Understand IP addressing, subnetting, and supernetting.
- Exhibit superb communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in English (verbal, reading, writing, comprehension).
- Apply process control and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL v3.
- Cisco WAN expertise: MPLS, Internet, IPSEC, encapsulation.
- Experience with routers, firewalls, switches, wireless controllers, access points, and LAN VRF routing.
- Hold Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP) – preferred.
- Experience working in a global environment.
- Ability to perform implementation activities when needed.
